MEET OUR PROVIDERS

JOHN V. PARKER

 

Dr. Parker is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American Medical Association. He currently serves as Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at South Seminole Hospital in Longwood, Florida. Dr. Parker completed his internship at the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Women in Orlando, Florida. He provides a complete spectrum of gynecology and obstetrical services and has privileges at South Seminole Hospital and Florida Hospital.

DAVID L. GOSS

 

Dr. Goss is a member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He received his medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed a residency at UCLA. Dr. Goss has privileges at Florida Hospital. At our Lake Mary and Deltona offices, he addresses a comprehensive range of women’s health concerns.

EDMUND BOULTING

 

Dr. Boulting graduated from the University of Miami and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Boulting has been practicing in Seminole County for twelve years and joined Advanced Women’s Health Specialists in 2010. He has privileges at Florida Hospital Altamonte and South Seminole Hospital. Dr. Boulting performs Robotic Assisted Surgery on patients and specializes in this precise, minimally invasive procedure. He has received the Patients’ Choice Award for the past several years.

CLYDE CLIMER

 

Dr. Climer is a Board Certified OB/GYN who has practiced in Seminole County since 1982. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD and received his M.D. degree from the University of Florida. His residency for Obstetrics and Gynecology was completed at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. Dr. Climer has privileges at Florida Hospital Altamonte and South Seminole Hospital.

NATEYA CARRIGNTON

 

A native of Central Florida, Dr. Nateya D. Carrington graduated summa cum laude from Hampton University and received her doctorate of medicine from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her residency training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX – home of the world’s largest medical center. 

Dr. Carrington is excited to return home to Central Florida to provide superior care to the women of her community. She holds a special interest in minimally invasive surgeries, including laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures. Additionally, she finds it an honor to share in many of the milestones throughout a women’s life – including their adolescence, pregnancies and beyond. 

Dr. Carrington is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her research in the field has been published in The Journal of Reproductive Medicine, one of the leading publications in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. 

In her free time, Dr. Carrington enjoys traveling, reading, live music and spending time with her rambunctious maltipoo.

ALICIA GAMBLE MCLOON

 

Alicia received a bachelor’s degree in biological science from Florida State University and a master’s degree as a Physician Assistant from Nova University. She is a member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. 

Alicia enjoys the diversity and continuity of care that obstetrics and gynecology offers. She finds it rewarding to counsel and provide preventative medicine for adolescents, to bond with expectant mothers and to offer compassionate care to women experiencing menopause.

ALYSSA BELT

 

Alyssa Belt obtained her nursing degree from Seminole Community College and completed her master’s degree and certification in Nurse Midwifery from Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing in Hyden, KY. Alyssa is board certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives. 

Alyssa has worked as a nurse in obstetrics (mainly in labor and delivery) within the Florida Hospital system since 2003. Alyssa completed her midwifery clinical experience in hospital births, out-of-hospital births, as well as home births. Alyssa enjoys being a part of the dynamic family bond that is midwifery care. She believes that providing personalized care and education to families is a key component to their overall health and well-being. Alyssa also enjoys providing well woman care and education to women of all ages. 

Alyssa is Cuban American, fluent in Spanish, and is a native Floridian. She currently lives with her loving husband, beautiful daughter & son and two dogs.

DONNA ANDRIES

 

Donna Andries received a master’s degree in the Nurse Practitioner Program at Pace University in New York. She is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurse Credentialing Center. Donna is also a member of the American College of Nurse Practitioners and Central Florida Advanced Practice Council.

 

 

DONNA BALO

 

Donna Balo is a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) with a variety of experiences birthing babies from water births at a free standing birth center to working at community hospitals and tertiary (high risk) centers. She prides herself in helping women achieve their goals whether it is hypnobirthing, Lamaze, the Bradley Method or an epidural. 

Over the years Donna has taught childbirth classes, life choice skills classes for teens and young adults, and women’s health to nursing students. The Empathy Belly is always a popular training tool! 

Being committed to preparing the next generation of Nurse-Midwives she is adjunct faculty at The University of Florida, Philadelphia University & the Frontier School of Midwifery. 

Donna began her career with her own non-profit Midwifery office which was voted the Top Women’s Health Office in West Volusia County. She was chosen as the Florida representative for The American College of Nurse-Midwives Teen Health Requires Interaction, Values & Education. 

As the proud mother of 4 she & her husband are experiencing the joys of grandparenting. What a joy birthing her grandbabies into the world! Now she is delivering babies of the babies she delivered! 

“I became a midwife to help women give birth. A bonus for me is taking care of women throughout their lifecycles. Being a woman is amazing and should be honored & celebrated!”

 

LINDA NEW

Linda New graduated from the University of Florida in 1992 with a Bachelors of Health Science degree and a Physician Assistant major. She has over 18 years of experience in women’s health and has been with Advanced Women’s Health Specialists since 1997. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. She was recently selected as one of three national finalists in the 2010 Dorland Heath People Award which honors diligent and influential practitioners who coordinate and provide health care. 

Linda grew up locally in DeLand, graduating from DeLand High School in 1986. She currently lives in DeBary with her husband and two children. She is a member of the Deltona Alliance Church. 

Linda explains her passion for her chosen field by stating, “I thoroughly enjoy working in Obstetrics and Gynecology because it provides me with the opportunity to care for women, both physically and emotionally, in many stages of their lives.”

LORI SISK

 
Lori Sisk received her radiology degree from Miami Dade Community College, and her ultrasound certificate from Mt. Sinai Medical Center’s School of Ultrasound in Miami Beach, Fl. She is board certified in obstetrics/gynecology, abdomen, and neurosonology. She worked in a large teaching hospital and a women’s imaging center in Miami for 15 years. She relocated to Central Florida 5 years ago with her husband and two children. Before joining Advanced Women’s Health Specialists she worked for a perinatologist dealing with high risk OB patients. In total she has been working in the ultrasound field for 20 years and she still enjoys the challenge that ultrasound imaging offers. She feels that every patient is unique and every case is an opportunity to help advance women’s health.

 

BROOKE DEAN

 

Brooke Dean obtained her undergraduate nursing degree from Florida Atlantic University and her master’s degree from Frontier Nursing University. She was board certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board in 2010. She completed her midwifery integration at the South Broward Health Department and is an active member with the American College of Nurse-Midwives. 

Brooke was raised in South Florida, and currently lives in Deland with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and taking classes at Orangetheory

 

 

CARMON CARLSON

 

Born and raised in Michigan, Carmon has always had a passion for Women’s Health Care. In 2009 she graduated from the University of Michigan with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. For 3 years she worked as progressive/trauma nurse and a Hospice nurse while working on her Masters degree in Midwifery. In 2013 she graduated from the University of Michigan with her Masters of Science in Nursing. After spending far too many grueling winters in the north, she decided to move to Florida to start her career in Midwifery. She is recently engaged and enjoying planning for her wedding.
